Brief introduction to my role in this project

In this case study, I have described the process that my team and I at morphosis went through whilst designing the product called — GG fantasy app. In this project, I was the lead designer for where I was directly involved in the earlier stages of the project from discovery phase to the research & wireframes, Concept design and Visual design phase.

Khobsanam GG is a football page on facebook that provides live updates about the football industry from transfer news, live scores and the latest headlines in the football industry. Khobsanam GG app is live score and football fantasy app for users to keep up the latest football news, trends transfers and play fantasy league

❓ Problem Statement

💡 Solution

In order to build a beautiful user interface with good user experience, we restructured the IA of the app and redesigned the app completely with a new look. We solved a few things listed below:

• Seamless onboarding experience
• Focusing on the fantasy premier league as it is the USP of the app and majority of the user come in to play the fantasy premier league
• Updating and revamping the news UI and experience, making it easy for users to find premium and non premium news

💭 Workshop

In our first step was to conduct a workshop amongst the stake holders to identify:

• Identify the stakeholder’s project goals
• Create user personas and understand the users
• Competitive analysis: to understand the features that Khobsanam GG and other apps in the market are providing. So that we can understand their unique selling point

🧪 Research

After we have conducted workshops with the stakeholders. We bring back the collected data to further understand more about their personas and create competitive benchmarking amongst GG app and their competitors.

We presented 3 concept designs to the representative of the GG team so that they can select a visual concept as one of their main concerns was the user interface around the app. The concept presented below is the concept that has been picked by the GG team
